1. Please identify yourself and your relation to the group. What role will you play in the planning process as well as during the program?
2. How did you hear about DHE and why have you chosen us for your group adventure? What are your goals for your group for this trip? How do you see our mission supporting those goals?
3. What knowledge would you like for the group to gain while at Deer Hill?
4. Certain activities are a part of almost every Deer Hill program such as personal reflection or journaling time, lessons in natural history, and teambuilding activities. Is there anything that you would like to include or emphasize during your adventure with us?
5. Tell us more about you and your group’s physical capabilities, group dynamics and your their relationships with you and/or any other attending adults. For example, is this a class trip or did participants sign up individually? Have they worked together as a group prior to this trip? How well do you know each participant?
6. Are there any special cultural considerations for your group about which we should know?
7. Are there special considerations for any of your students, including behavioral, health, or emotional issues?
8. How do you see your role while here at Deer Hill? Please consider teaching classes, discipline, chores, participation in group activities and support. Your program leaders will follow up with you about this upon your arrival.
Anything else you want Deer Hill or your Field Staff to know prior to your arrival?
